Abstract: Educational learning around the world has been greatly affected by the great epidemic of Covid-19. Due to this all the educational institutions were closed. Have switched to virtual learning sites to pursue educational activities. However in preparation for e-learning, questions about design and performance are not yet clearly understood, especially for developing countries such as India where technical restrictions such as device availability and bandwidth availability pose a serious challenge. This study focuses on the problems in learning Tamil in the ninth grade students in the actual class through an online survey of 300 students. This will help in shaping the learning environment in an effective contextual class. The results indicate that the majority of those surveyed (50%) were willing to choose the actual class to manage the curriculum during this epidemic period. Most students prefer to use the cell phone for real-class learning. The study looks at students in government and government-aided schools who face problems in learning Tamil in real-life classrooms due to power outages and network problems due to inability to pay for cell phones and internet connection.
