Abstract: The peaceful and religious fanes where the twelve Alwars had been singing their tender and Godly melodies unceasingly are known as “Divya Desam” (108 Vishnu temple). As they have devoted their lives in singing enchantingly at these particular Vishnu temples, these places have become famous. They are known to be the reason why each of those temples could flex its unique and fascinating architecture, sculptures, rituals and worship ideologies of each period, till date. These Divya Desams which has helped the Alwars stage their lively singing, has been blessed with popularity in return, which justifies why they are famous until today. One of those blessed divinely abode of deities is the Adhi Jagannatha Perumal Temple, situated in a village 9km from Ramanadhapuram addressed as Thirupullani. Just how every divine temple has been known for its own customs, ethics, ritual practices, historical evidences, architectures, sculptures and worship principles and ideologies, this temple paves way to the above-mentioned spiritual doctrine by approaching it through the puranas and its associated beliefs, which makes it unique in its own way.
