Abstract

Inscriptions are among the most important sources that reveal ancient history and culture, and the Thirukkarukavur inscriptions, in particular, illustrate the virtuous lives and social responsibility of our ancestors. The Thirukkarukavur inscriptions provide information about the donations of land, goods, and contributions made to temples, charitable institutions, and for religious worship..
