Abstract

To examine the physical and mental pains of the Koothukhu artists. To explain the living conditions, income and professional insecurity of Koothu artists. To examine the identity crisis and social exclusion they face due to the decline of traditional arts. To expose the shortcomings of Koothu artists in basic needs such as education, health, and family life. The aim of this article is to understand the impacts of modern social changes (urbanization, media development) on their lives. The aim is to suggest solutions and protective measures to these problems.
