MaduraiKanchi is an Ancient Tamil poem in the sangam literature. It is a didaitu poem and its title connotes the poetic counsel addressed to the king of Madurai composed by Mankuti Marutanar probably the chief court poet of the Pandya Nedunjeliyan 11, the Madurai kanchi is the sixth poem in the pattupattu anthology. Madurai kanji is the longest poem in the pattupattu collection with 782 lines of poetry. The poem all his accomplishment and strengths. The Maduraikanchi describes a well structured administration in Madurai. Maduraikanchi shows the instability of life.
