Abstract

Abstract: The one who extends unflinching support to initiate the conversation, sharing of views and other communiqués between any two individual is termed as an Emissary or a Messenger. In the Past decades there has been a practice of sending these Messengers amongst the Lovers. This kind of Legacy was also in vogue between the Kings during ancient days and this concept has also been quoted in the Literature of Tholkaapiyam. As per the Great Tamil Saint Thiruvalluvar, the qualities of the Messenger / Emissary should be in such a way that the content or the subject matter which has to be conveyed should be categorized with correct compilation of befitting words. And by all means the Listener is to be so pleased with the Messenger’s expression of words with Solace & Sweetness ensuring the absence of unpleasant words in the whole context. This kind of special communiqué only will be able to make the Sender to enjoy the fruits of benefits out of the vital role played by the Emissary.
