Abstract

Drama is viewed into two bases. One is creating and other one is performing it. The viewers watch only the performance at the most. The sense perception is the core of the drama performance. There is no society without dramatic cultural influences. Hence, drama is inevitable artistic tradition in all countries and all cultural societies. The recent researches attempt to write the history of drama based on the grammar and literature of dramas.      It may the reason be that in early periods, dramas were considered as literature rather a performance. It can bring more information to the art world by seeing the drams by its history, its aesthetic elements and the so forth.  On the basis, dramas of C.N. Annathurai have been viewed as a literature than viewing as a performance from since his creation of the said dramas. The hypothesis includes that the dramas were written by C. N. Annathurai in order to perform and these dramas have all performing elements including theatrical essence. His dramas are reviewed as revolutionary trend against European colonized nature. Later on bring the society to the liberty form the social injustice. Based on the progress, he attempted to create a political party to apply his political goal for the sake for the people. Social liberty of the people for him is to educate them to revolutionize from the slavery of colonialism. To encapsulate the liberty of the people and remove all injustice, C. N. Annathurai created his dramas. This change in the theatric trend is becoming a new trend called Revolutionary Liberal Theatre. In the history and scope of theatre, it is a new beginning in the tradition of theatre and drama.
