Abstract

The author Vindhan has made social problems, the condition of women, and problems related to love life the subject of his novels, and has earned a place for himself by infusing life and emotion into novel literature. This article examines the plight of the female characters in Vindhan's works such as Kan Thirakkuma, Paalum Paavaiyam, Swayamvaram, Anbu Alaarukirathu, Manithan Maaravillai, and Kadhalum Kalyanamum, and the ideas the author wants to convey to society through the female characters.
