Abstract

The Vedas are the foundation of Hinduism. The Vedas are the texts that explain the principles, justice, and morality in human life. The Puranas and Itihasas were created by ancient scholars to explain morality in the minds of the people through these Vedas. The central idea that one who practices morality will ultimately achieve excellence. One who practices unrighteousness will ultimately be degraded and destroyed is expressed through various characters in the Puranas and Itihasas...
