Abstract

The term "customs and habits" is formed by the combination of two words: habit and custom. The word habit refers to practice, learning, or repeated behavior. It denotes an individual's pattern of conduct or actions developed through continuous practice. The word custom refers to practices that are traditionally followed and passed down from generation to generation. In Tamil grammar and literary traditions, it is explained as a practice that is continuously observed and transmitted over time.
