Abstract

Although the period of Sangam literature was a land-owning society, the nomads who lived there as landless lived virtuously in that society. This article seeks to explore that auspiciousness. Sociological approach, Analytical approach, Historical approach are the approaches to be investigated. In the Sangam period, in a society where the virtues were recognized, the Panars lived by insisting on chastity in the society. The leader involved in internal life has been the bridge of connection in the external life of the leader. They have made it clear that the leader in the household should live with morality by being the one who resolves disputes and creates unity. In addition to social work, they have also been able to guide the ethnic groups.
