Abstract

Sri Lankan tea plantation workers are among those who migrated to many countries to survive the famine due to poverty to survive the livelihood. These people came from Tamil Nadu and sweated their blood in the tea forests of Sri Lanka. If they want to burn tea on a new hill, they worship the tea plant and sing a bolip song to get more tea. After bathing a fat woman, the Matabhaiyan has a habit of making her sit inside the house. They also believe that Rodamuni will attack a pubescent girl. Marriage is performed at an auspicious time on an auspicious day. A song of congratulation is sung at the time of marriage. Aiyanar Sami is worshiped as a deity. Girls enjoy Pongal singing Kummi song for Ayyanar. If the beetle bites the eyes, the leg of the chicken is cut and the blood is poured as a medicine and bandaged.These people indulge in punalat for recreation during holidays. A professional proverb is given among these people that a knife will not be damaged, and a knife will not be damaged. When someone dies within the ethnic group, a white flag is tied in front of the house to mark the deceased's house. oopari song is sung on the occasion of death. This review article is intended to describe such unique biological practices.
